A Visit & A Fabric Store

On Sunday, my friend Shirley & I went to see Chicago, the fabric, & K! We drove part way and took the train the rest of the way. Obviously, displayed by our traveling companions, there was a Cubs game that day!

K met us and we grabbed a quick lunch and headed to catch the closest El line but first had to walk across a bridge. I don't like that (bridges - yuck!) so walked quickly ahead.
We just love the fabric warehouse. The rows of fabric! This row was just full of color!
Resting our feet as we waited for the El to return us downtown.
The view from the more than 3 stories up platform for the El. Yikes!! It was so nice & sunny!
Back downtown, K pointed out her room for the summer!
After a few minutes I felt calm enough to look out the windows. This is part of her view: Here is to the side:

Before we left to ride the train back home, we sat in Millennium Park to warm up! The breeze from the lake was cold!! We must have looked cute because a passerby asked where the camera was - she would take our picture! Sounds like something I would do! Her companions said she had taken 10 cameras that day. LOL

It was a fun but short visit. We all got home tired!

You and K look like twins ... separated by a few years, of course.

Gee, K really got her hair cut short. Great picture.

Check out my blog and see what we had this week.
